So my daughter will be four in July. I thought we had the “scratching” episodes underway (no reports at nursery) and her father and I have been scratch free for well over six months. Her favourite thing now is to tell us she doesn’t like us or screams at us to go away 😳
I realise a lot of this behaviour, with many toddlers, stems from frustration, anger, tiredness or even hunger. But what if she’s playing and she suddenly scratches her big brother (who is sixteen by the way)? He said they were playing fine, tickling - she was even laughing then out of the blue she scratches him on the face. She does this a few times a week so I can’t even blame it on the nasty cold she has right now.
Anyone else experiencing similar?
