Cows milk

Ds recently turned 1 and he's on cows milk now but he will only drink it warm (he was the same with formula) so was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I can get him to drink it cold. He has 1 bottle before bed (heated). And I give him milk in a cup with snacks(cold) but he just spits it out. Hope that makes sense.

Does it matter if it's warm? If you want him to drink it cold then I'd slowly reduce the amount you heat it by.

Its winter (and he's young) so give it to him warm. Once the summer heatwave is here he will love it being cold and refreshing ;)

No it doesn't matter just more for ease when we're out and for when he's at nursery.

Then maybe try him on squash or plain water for daytime and keep the warm milk for bed. You can give him other dairy products for the calcium intake such as yoghurt and diced cheese. If you can get him to drink plain water now (rather than squash or fruit juice) that will set him up for the many years of school where plain water is the only option to keep hydrated.

He loves water and occasionally gets fruit juice or squash. He carries his cup wherever he goes. Thanks for your suggestions
