Advantages of a big age gap

There are ten years between my two and sometimes it feels relentless and I really envy families with small gaps. I struggle with the fact that I'll have been a parent to an under 18 for such a large chunk of my adult life. Obviously I love them both to death and wouldn't be without them, I just wish they were closer in age.

Please remind me of any advantages of such a big gap?

Large gap between helping them with GCSEs
Not having two teens simultaneously
Not having 2 in nappies
After school activities don't clash
Cheaper childcare as only needed for 1
Elder can babysit younger
No competitiveness or worries if younger is visibly more able than older ones
