Two temperatures in 7 days

My 23 mo came down with a temp last Friday evening, it was around 38.5 and dropped to 37.5ish with calpol and he was generally under the weather but nothing overly concerning to me. He came out in a rash on Sunday over his cheeks and parts of his body but this just seemed to mostly match viral rash images I could find online and it faded on its own accord. He had no temp from Sunday night onwards and was all better in my opinion by Monday eve.

On Thursday he started sneezing and coughing a little. Thursday overnight he came down with another temp of 38.2, again it’s come down with calpol and this morning he’s very snotty and a little quieter than usual but eating drinking and again nothing that I’d be super concerned about.

However I am a little concerned today just because he’s only just had a temp, could this be the prev temp on its way back or could he really have picked up another bug in the same week as he has already had one?

I’ve rang the docs today but conscious of time wasting as if they were two instances weeks apart I wouldn’t have been ringing but it’s just that they’ve so close together.

Most likely another bug.
