Sandpit help please

Hi everyone I recently got this sandpit for my son and plan to build it this weekend
My question is how much sand would I need to fill this I've no clue and it dosnt say
I've included pic and dimensions

And does anyone know best place get sand that wont cost a fortune

Does it have a lid? I'd be worried about local cats or foxes using it for a loo!

Not sure how much of it but you can get sand from Argos. I'm trying to think how much I got for our turtle sandpit - possibly 20kg? Maybe 4 5kg bags?

Actually, each bag was maybe 15kg? I'm sure there were four, so maybe 60kg?

This Sunday Lidl has playsand on middle of lidl special, £2.99 for 15kg which is pretty much as cheap as I've seen it. (Unless you're buying industrial quantities!)

I'd love one in our garden but we have ant issues in our area (all the neighbours too) and I'd worry even with a lid they'd get in.

Also as pp said we have lots of cats in our area too!

Google the best sand to get, I'm sure when looking into it there was a sand you should avoid but I can't remember 🙈 I think Argos had the best at the time...
