Neighbour keeps off-road rusty car in shared area - any rights?

This is a sensitive one. Our neighbour is a widow, and the car was her husband's. It's off-road. It's been parked up against the side of a shared yard behind the back of our row of houses - at least since we moved in 4 years ago.

It is very, very slightly blocking full, clear access to our back gate - but we can get easily in and out of our property. It's not blocking any car access and we residents can still easily use the rest of the area for parking when we need to.

But...the car is an eyesore. It's dirty and rusted with flat tyres and gathering moss. It looks dumped/abandoned which some say may present a crime/vandalism risk.

We're currently trying to sell our house, and some viewers have asked why the car is there and if it's staying.

Do we have any rights to ask her to move the car? Obviously I'd approach this sensitively with her.

What do your deeds say?

I would offer to have it removed for her. Or even buy it off her and get it scrapoed

And yes that too. She probably has no idea how to get rid of it so She'd probably bite your hand off if you offer (and pay for it)
