So my dd and her boyfriend split up my dd has moved back to her dads with her baby girl ( my granddaughter).
My dd has got a new bloke in tow already and I'm not too happy about it as he looks and sounds and acts like he is on drugs but what worries me most is I've found out that my dd is taking drugs and also drinking heavily .
When my dd split from babys dad she asked me to look after the baby till she had her stuff moved back to her dads which I did and when I took baby back it was less than 24 hours before my dd was in the pub with the baby so I went and brought baby back with me, which is also when I found out about the drug taking , this was happening with the babys dad too .
So I have baby with me for now but I'm unsure on what path to take for babys sake of I'm afraid to say I don't think she is 100% safe with either of her parents and after speaking to my dd dad I'm thinking my best bet would be to ring ss and maybe get some advice but don't think I could handle them taking baby and giving her back to either parent . Just any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
