DD is nearly 3 and we started potty training about 6 weeks ago when we thought she was ready... thought we mastered it around 3 weeks in. She has a wee on the toilet and very rarely has an accident (accident have only ever been at nursery though).
However over the past week and a half she's been saving her poo for when she's in a nappy overnight. Her bum is red raw, I've been putting sudocrem on it and tried a barrier cream too but they're just not helping.
Just checked on her now and It looks so sore and I've had to do a full bed change.
What cream have you found effective? Previously used honey barrier cream which was great... is metanium good?
Any advice if greatly appreciated!! I just don't want to keep buying lots of creams that aren't rated highly.
I also know I need to solve the root of the problem so any tips on getting her to stop saving her poo's would be fab!
She's still in a cot, and I plan to convert it to the bed soon so will wake her up for wee on the toilet when I go to bed.
Thanks :D
