Hello,

I'm looking to transfer my daughter from state school to private for year 2. We are interested in Pipers Corner in High Wycombe. Can anyone give the pros and cons of this school? It's a big decision for us to make, so I'd really appreciate hearing from you.

Thank you

You may get more responses posting in Primary Education with the name of the school too. Would you discount Godstowe? Where are you hoping for secondary - stay in private, or grammar, or ..?

Thank you. I'll do that; Pipers has been recommended by a few people, iv had a look at Godstowe but didn't feel as welcomed when I made enquiries.
I will have to assess my finances for secondary school when the time comes

You need to think about secondary school destinations and then work back. Pipers is a through school so the majority of pupils stay until 18. Your DD will be one of very few if they leave at 11 and she may not want to leave.
If you want grammar then look at High March or Maltmans Green. Alternative is Godstowe but they do focus largely on boarding destinations. There are a few other small preps around which focus on grammars but think about extra circulars in a smaller school
