How much does your 4 year old drink?

Just curious how much your 4 year old drinks. My DD has milk with her cereal and a cup of water (about 150 ml) at breakfast. She sometimes drinks her water at nursery, sometimes not. A carton of soya milk or juice at lunchtime. A cup of cordial or hot chocolate when she gets home and a cup of cordial with her dinner. It takes a lot of nagging to get her to drink. She has eczema, itchy skin and a UTI in the past which may be related to the amount of liquid she drinks. Thanks!

Hiya. My 4yo dad has a child size cup of milk in the morning plus sometimes milk on cereal. Water at nursery. A glass of milk when she gets home (doesn’t always finish it) and maybe a few sips of water with lunch. A small drink of cordial mid afternoon (more if a warm day etc) another glass of milk around 4.30 when we get home. Maybe a few sips of water before bed. Not sure it is a huge amount more than your LO? Cartons work well for me as they seem ‘special’ and so she seems to want to drink them more!

Very little some days! We find making ice cubes or ice lollies out of squash helps his him intake - we smash the ice cubes up into "slush".

She has a glass of Prosecco every evening.

He’s not 4 but my DS (3) is TERRIBLE at drinking. Always has been since I stopped breastfeeding at 16m. He has chronic constipation so has movicol every day which I still have to syringe in to him each morning and that’s the most fluid he’ll have the whole day. The other is sips here and there. He just never seems thirsty! I have tried juice, squash, ice lollies and even Diet Coke in desperation but nothing works! I used to be like this apparently and just grew out of it.
DD is completely different and drinks normally. It’s lovely not having to stress about it with her! Although she does her best to give me other things to stress about!
