Normal for MMR vaccine?? Worrying.

My 1 year old had his MMR vaccine 10 days ago.

He started being off his food a couple of days ago and being a lot whingier than normal.

Last night his temp was at 39.3 and again this morning. He's not got a rash spreading all over the place. Tummy, back, neck and face.

Now I was told that he may be a bit unwell after 7-10 days with a mild rash. I guess I'm just wondering if this seems mild? It's more than I was expecting.

Would you call the GP just to check him over? I'm a bit of an anxious PFB Mum apologies!

Picture of his tummy attached. His back and neck are the same with it now spreading across his forehead and chin.

I think it’s better to call to check if you’re worried, but my DD had the same after hers. It was short lived and didn’t bother her.

One of mine had quite an extensive rash, but within a couple days of the jab.

Given the time lag, and the quite high temp, I would probably get him checked.

Both my children got a rash 10 days after the MMR. Apparently it's really common.
My older daughter was absolutely covered in a bright red rash. My GP said it's totally normal and nothing to worry about.
My friend is a health visitor so I checked with her when my younger daughter had the same and she said the same- common and nothing to worry about. Apparently 10 days is the time is usually comes out as well.

The rash and high temp seem about right 10 days after mmr vaccine - the nurse who gave my DS his said this could happen around this time, but I would also just get it checked by a GP for peace of mind.
