Long winded - my son turns 3 in June. Ever since his first Christmas I've struggled with limits, I bought too much then (I feel) too little. Is there a common amount to buy/spend? I've read in blogs to buy something they want, something they need, something to share, something to read and something to show you care. Did this at Christmas and cried as I felt his pile was so small.
Doesn't help when you have people bragging they've spent thousands on their kids. I'm not rich nor struggling, I just can't find a happy medium 😒
