Hi! Is it just me or does anyone else find kids parties/family parties/big gatherings with a toddler not enjoyable?! I don't enjoy big crowds, my toddler doesn't enjoy big crowds, he gets upset and cries, people try to pass him around etc which he absolutely hates, feeding him there is a nightmare as he is unsettled etc. I feel the mum guilt big time as I'm torn between knowing my LO's personality and knowing he hates the situation so not going and then feeling bad that he doesn't enjoy parties when he should be?! We do go to baby groups but they're quite gentle groups - playgroup and singing etc. I have a party to attend this afternoon and I'm just dreading it!
