My son is 8 months old and for the past few weeks or so he keeps throwing his head back and arching his back and trying to kick up and away from you when having a bottle, he has also started doing this in his high chair when eating food, he briefly suffered from reflux when he was a newborn but we changed his milk and elevated his cot and this seemed to fix the issue, he has been put on gaviscon sachets but i dont see any difference in him and he doesnt eat as much as he used to, some days he will take more formula than others same with solids. My question is, is this actually reflux or could something else be wrong? If it is reflux what worked for your little one? The GP has said give it 7-10 days and we can try another antacid. I have my HV on thursday so i am going to bring this up in conversation, im at my wits end with making sure he is getting enough of what he needs when he is taking far less in than before, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou
