gender ideology at school

Been a fair few years since I was at secondary school. I wanna know, mums, if gender ideology has infiltrated primary and secondary education. I'm glad that when I left secondary (2017), there was none of that bollocks.

People being allowed to be what they are, is that what you mean? Calling other people's choices 'bollocks' says far more about you than them.

@LizDoingTheCanCan that's not what I said, actually. I said nothing about freedom of expression. What I will say on that note is if school doesn't allow hair dyes and requires uniforms based on sex, you either follow or get out. Rules are rules.
You're at school to learn, not to be indoctrinated.

Actually, it’s the exact opposite. Gender is all about pink for girls and blue for buys and other bullshit stereotypes. More than ever if people don’t fit that they are encouraged to change, ‘boys become girls’ and ‘girls become boys’. Gender isn’t accepting of others at all, it requires kids to change when they were fine as they were.

BuyDirt · 05/03/2022 19:21

And yes schools are affirming gender ideology, using kids preferred pronouns and having clubs for trans kids.

takataktak · 06/03/2022 08:29

Completely agree, @BuyDirt, they're made to think that if they don't conform 100% to sexist stereotypes, they're somehow not the gender they are

@BuyDirt when I was at school, no one cared about gender and LGB issues. Gender ideology wasn't in full swing, and the only slight bit of homophobia was the chavvy lads who threw the word faggot or puff around. Nothing serious. Now it seems worse
