My daughter is a size 9 with narrow feet and I'm finding that it's hard to find school shoes that fit. I'm looking for brogues with a heel that can be repaired (i.e. a wooden block). She has been in Clarks ladies size 8 so far which I padded out with felt, but now she's size 9 its far too wide and deep. I baulk at the £120 DMs cost these days, especially since she seems to still be growing. I've thought of amputation but the impudent child protests. Any suggestions?
