Hoping someone has some advice!
My almost 3yr old had no issues going to bed, has been in his own room since 7m old, would self settle and sleep 7pm til 6:30am. The past month he started getting out of bed a few times once he went down but went back after a few tries. But suddenly the past few nights he is screaming and crying, getting himself in a right state, as soon as we put him to bed. Won’t even lie down and gets out straight away, opens the door and follows us out. We’ve started sitting by his bed til he falls asleep and sneaking out which only takes about 30mins but he will wake up anytime from 11pm to 3am and we have to do the same routine again, multiple times a night. My husband and are are exhausted as both work full time and I’m currently 4months pregnant. Last night we just couldn’t settle him and everytime we tried to leave the room he would wake so he came and slept in with us about 1am which I don’t want to make a habit of. Any advice on how to break this habit would be very welcomed!
