So my DC had a consultation last year. Is due to have a non-urgent op. At the time the consultant did mention that the waiting list was long and we wouldn't hear 'very soon'. So I just left it expecting we'll just get a letter in the post. Have now been waiting a year and still nothing? I've been trying to call the hospital on and off for months and it is honestly the most infuriating thing!! I just can't get through to anyone! I've called the peadiatric department who said this wasn't the correct department to call and gave me the direct number for the consultants secretary. There has NEVER been any answer. When I ring back the switchboard and ask to be connected to the specific department he needs, they connect me but the call is dropped right away. What do I do?!? Honestly I'm getting nowhere. I rang his GP who was also useful
