Hi guys,
So I have been co sleeping with my baby since she was practically a newborn. I suffered really bad postpartum wise and did everything I could just to keep everything as simple as I could and at bay. It's all come back to bite me. She's now 10 months old and I really need to get her in her crib, she's too big for my bed and me and my partner would like it back for ourselves. I have been putting her in her cot and she absolutely hates it. It takes me around two hours of going in, settling her (not picking her up but soothing her) leaving the room, she cries and I time it for longer and longer, go back in settle her and leave again, so she can learn to self soothe. It doesn't seem to be working so far. She ends up being on the brink of falling asleep, she turns on her tummy and can't get comfortable and she's wide awake again climbing her cot and crawling. I've helped her a couple times when I see on the baby monitor that she's not very comfy and she just flips back over straight away.
I'm at my wits ends basically and would like to know if there were any magical methods that helped for your babies?
Please be kind x
