And now, at the age of 3 and a half, can correctly apply the f word to contexts. I'm mortified. Am I alone? What do I do? Blush

I think I heard my boy of same age saying this yesterday so I told him he was saying it wrong or that it wasn't a real word. Like for the f word say 'don't you mean 'fudge' silly. Often if I think he has swore I will ignore it and hope it's a one off but if it continued I'd have to address it. Maybe if he doesn't hear it again he will forget it? They MOSTLY still want to please you at this age so if it did continue you could show your disappointment. Or go over the top yourself using another 'swear' word like fiddlesticks until he gets hold of that one.

In saying that my son is going through I whiny plus defiant stage and I'm not sure if he is worse than the average 3 year old or not. It can be very hard work at times. Other times he is great.
