ds is doing really well, what should I do about CM when he goes back?

ds is now on day 7 of the GF potty training and is like a superstar
He is now using the toilet instead of the potty (although poo-ing is still an issue but not too worried about it).

However he goes back to CM next week and she doesnt normally allow her mindees upstairs and they use the potty downstairs.

I feel like this will be a step back for ds who now manages to make it all the way upstairs to use our toilet.

Should I just let it go or ask her if he can use the toilet upstairs in her house?

Does she let the older mindees use the toilet? If so, then there should be no problem re: letting your ds use it. Unless she has safety issues?

I know at my c/minder she has a high wooden staircase, wheras at home we live in a bungalow. But my c/minder has a downstairs toilet so this wasn't an issue for us.

My ds was toilet trained, I never had a potty, so I don't know what I would have done if c/minder insisted on using a potty..

Is there any way you can call her in adnace & make sure he can use her toilet?

Yes we have a great relationship so can ask her but I just feel cheeky taking her last bit of privacy

Then that's what I would do

Just call her & tell her you've cracked it & need her support
