Hi im hoping someone can help me … very stressed out mummy. My son is 18months and for last few months he wont eat anything apart from snacks, toast and chicken dippers. Will have a banana at brealfast but no other time.
I have bought and made countless things to try but he wont even try anything. Waves his hands in the air and shouts no🥺
Weight is fine but he is starting to have tummy trouble from his diet. I give him healthy start vitamins with his milk in morning to try get some proper goodness into him

Il really stuck. He just point blank refuses anything else to eat

Any ideas appreciated as i am stuck😢
Thanks

You do realise you’ve posted in the doghouse which is actually for dogs? Grin

Thought you was talking about your dog being your son for a moment.

Anyway, he’s only 18 months. Let him eat what he will eat and branch out later on. Maybe add one new food item to his plate every now and then to see if he will eat it along side his normal food

Hi OP
We have just moved this out of the doghouse over to parenting.
Best of luck!

@PhilipMumsnet, it's still showing up in the Doghouse. I came on to offer suggestion about fish oil and raw tripe....

There are some good suggestions here: www.seriouseats.com/getting-kids-interested-in-food
