Dummy advice!

So first of all I just really don't want to turn this into a pro or anti dummy chat, I'm just after some information on different brands. My son uses a dummy at bedtime. I'm quite happy for him to continue using it at this point. I've always bought the mam brand of dummies which are obviously a little bit pricey when my son manages to lose his dummy or the dog gets hold of it every other day!! Yesterday I went out to replace the dummies and there were none of the mam size dummies that I needed so I ended up buying the shop branded to me just to put me on until I was going to go into town. Anyway my son has really enjoyed the shop Branded dummy, he didn't reject it and was quite happy to use it during the night. I'm just thinking moving forward I could probably save a lot of money if I didn't get the branded to me, but I am just unsure whether the unbranded or cheaper version dummies would have any detriment on his teeth or anything like that. The branded ones advertised been orthodontic where is the cheaper ones don't so I was just wondering if there was any information on the cheaper dummies being worse for them if that makes sense.
