fruit puree pots

Morning all!
Son has ASD and sensory processing difficulties making him extremely fussy with foods and textures. The only fruit he will eat are the cow and gate fruit puree pots. Just tried to do my monthly stock up on the Boots site and have discovered they are now discontinued and Cow and Gate no longer make them.
Aldi and Lidl haven't done their own versions for a while either.
Can anyone recommend something similar please? He won't eat the Heinz fruit custard pots.
I know I can puree fruit but I wanted something quick and easy to grab and go if needed!
Thank you kindly!

I use the Ella’s kitchen fruit pouches with my DD. Have you tried those? I bought some little tops that go on top to stop them squeezing it everywhere.

They sell the Cow and Gate ones at Sainsburys and Morrisons, and on Ocado I think.

Sainsburys own brand ones are very similar. Taste practically the same. Not that I've ever tasted DD's of course.

You can still get then on Amazon.

They also have the GoGo Squeez fruit pouches on Amazon which are an American lunchbox/snack time staple. For some unknown reason Americans are obsessed with feeding kids apple sauce! But the texture is similar to the Cow and Gate, just in a pouch instead, and there are lots of flavours to choose from.

Hi @PinkDaydreams,we've posted together on another thread Smile.

Morrisons do them and yes the go go squeeze as PP said are very similar.

Co-op I'm sure do the fruit pots still.

Hi @Chocolatetrifle!!! Nice to see you on another thread!

Thank you so much for the advice, I've ordered some off Amazon and I will have a nosey at the go go ones suggested.

Sadly no Morrisons near by but I'm going to raid the local Sainsbury's! I didn't realise they did their own brand, thank you

Good news! I went to Morrisons the other day and they are selling the C&G fruit pots again! It’s the only fruit my daughter will eat (so I feel your pain!) and so I stocked up. Maybe you’ve discovered this already by the time I have posted this but just in case you haven’t then get yourself down to Morrisons!

Inthesky42 · 15/01/2023 06:44

Sainsburys little ones are very reasonable. Just watch out as they have both smooth and lumpy versions!

If you struggle to find anything suitable keep hold of any empty pots you have and use them to put your own in and freeze them.
