Baby won't sleep without me

Has anyone got any tips on how to get an EB baby to fall asleep in their cot instead of wanting to be in the bed with you? My DD will not fall asleep without me and wakes screaming when I try transfer her to the cot ? Me and DH never get a good night sleep as our bed is not king sized and it's causing arguments between us as we're both always so tired. I can't sleep worrying that I will crush her

How old is your baby? Mine still wants to be cuddled to sleep at 7 months after lots of boob and can't be put down until comatose!

How old is the baby? Swaddling and white noise. Maybe a sleepyhead. Or just accept the co sleeping for a bit and you take it in turns to sleep on the sofa to get a good night.

7 months on Wednesday! She was fine as a newborn sleeping in her next to me crib up until around 4-5 months old. I am hoping for a good nights sleep soon ! I worry as my younger sister has always been in the bed with my mum and she is 2 and a half now. I don't want it to get to that for me Confused

She's 7 months old& I always swaddled with white noise she would sleep in her next to me as a newborn and she started wanting to be with me at 4-5 months old. As soon as I try and put her in the cot she's wide awake !

I have no advice but just wanted to say, you're not alone! My DC is the same, he's now 20mths and still BFs to fall asleep but (mostly) sleeps in his Cot for the entire night. He has done from around 12 months Smile

That gives me a bit of hope hopefully she will want to sleep in there soon the entire night!

Have you tried the bigger sleepyhead?

My eldest was very clinging at bedtimes until we got him into the sleepyhead, and was then ok

They are expensive new but there are loads on eBay and they are fine once you wash the cover

Thank you ! I had no idea there were bigger sleepyheads as she did have one as a newborn and loved it but grew out of it very fast. I will definitely have a look at those
