MMR fever

Hi. My LO had the MMR 8 days ago. He's currently on day 3 of high fevers and being poorly. As soon as paracetamol/ibuprofen wears off his temperature rises. Is it normal for them to feel poorly for this long?

Just bumping for you OP. Mine is due his too. I don't think my other three were too bad, although it's a while ago so I can't remember for sure! I do know that all of mine have reacted very differently to each other with various vaccinations. You could call 111 for reassurance?

With the first MMR they can get ‘mini measles’ about 7 days later. One of my DC had some v high temps and a rash for 2/3 days and then recovered pretty quickly.
