I just thought I'd share this because it gives some insight into the online world that many adolescent girls are subsumed by when they begin exploring transgender identities. What struck me the most was how oblivious her parents seemed to be to her online life and community. Her perspective also might partly explain why teenage girls have such a high representation amongst those who transition.
