Should you wake baby from nap?

My nearly 6 month old has just started having longer naps. For the last week, he's been sleeping 45 mins in the morning, 2 hours early afternoon and 45 mins in the early evening. Which has been working well!

Last night he slept through the night for the first time, then went back to bed at 10am and is still sleeping now!! Do I wake him to keep him on schedule or is it best to let him sleep??

My first baby never slept longer than an hour in the day so this is all new 😂

At six months, I let them sleep!

At that age I'd only wake if we needed to get somewhere or if it was affecting their night sleep.

Might be a bit controversial but I wake my baby boy up during the day if he sleeps longer than 2.5hrs.. he normally wakes then by himself but occasionally doesn’t and I will wake him up and offer a warm feed. I do this so he can feed regularly as he has reflux, and also it means he sleeps much better at night and maybe has one wake in 7 hours if any. He’s 6 weeks and this helps us have some sort of vaguely predictable routine! If I didn’t do this we’d be all over the place both day and night xo
