My nearly 4 year old boy is usually quite social. He's a happy go lucky little chap. But recently, within the past two or so weeks, he's been very clingy at home. Constantly following me around, calling for me within 30secs of me leaving the room, asking me "mummy what are you doing" even if I'm just around the corner in the kitchen cluttering around. He wants me to sit with him constantly.
He knows where I am as I tell him. He can hear me.
He has a twin and another sibling (they all get on well) so isn't lonely and they aren't like this at all. He wasn't until a few weeks ago.
Is this a "normal" development stage? Any ideas how I can stop this? I can't even poop in peace and he bursts into tears so quickly if I don't come back immediately...
Thanks!
