So I was getting DD ready for bed tonight and patted her arm a couple of times with her nappy before I put it on her. She fell about laughing and we ended up having a ‘nappy fight’. All gentle, but both ended up laughing hysterically and DD begging for more.

We’ve had a tough couple of years (haven’t we all!) but what gets your kids giggling and helps you becoming lighthearted and fun?

My son likes it when I say “I’m going to get your chinny-chin-chin!” and then I tilt him back a bit or upside down and blow raspberries on his chin/cheeks. It gets him cackling with laughter, and it always makes me smile when he walks up to me and says “Chinny?” hopefully.

I realise that might make me sound a bit mad, but my mum did it to me and I remember doing it to my much-younger brother when he was a baby, and little ones seem to love it. Grin

Wrap her up inside a roll mat with a blanket over the top, then be the big bad wolf blowing down the house. Hilarious!
