Feeding my 3 month old Aptamil first milk he has 6oz every 4-5hrs has 5 feeds in 24hrs. Thai is what’s recommended on the box and doctors at his 8 week check said it was right for his size. He’s been getting sick after his bottle sometimes just a bit and sometimes small amount 4-5 times. Not sure if it’s reflux, if it’s the milk. He’s very happy in himself and doesn’t cause him any distress. We pace feed him so he only takes what he wants. Just stressed he’s being sick and I don’t know what to do to help him. He had same problem when he was about 3/4 weeks old doctor said he was over fed but knew he wasn’t once we changed the teats on the bottle so he wasn’t drinking as quick he was ok and not sick as much. Just want some advice for anyone else who may have had same problem with their baby? Got weighed at 12 weeks and HV said to give him an extra feed everyday so he doesn’t drop too far below 50th centile but don’t want to over feed him so we haven’t done that.

Just bumping for you OP in the hope that you get some advice soon. This kind of question is asked quite a lot so you might like to search for past threads too.

Have you tried feeding him smaller amount every 3 hours in the day? Going 5 hours without any fluids or calories in the day is an awful long time.

I agree 5 hours is too long. I'd try 4 oz every 3 hours? 7 feeds a day ish giving longer in the night if he sleeps? Check with HV first but 5 hours is too long imo
