Hi

First time posting but I need to get some advice before I have bloody anxiety attack or something.

So I've got a 5yo. He had just recovered from a nasty tummy bug, went round the whole house. So that was a week ago. He's on half term now. And last night he spiked a fever with no other symptoms and was fine this morning. Same happened the night before and night before that. He's absolutely fine during the day. I've done lat flows and all are negative.

I was going to ask GP for advice but there's no appointments. I know he's in reception class and seems to be sick every other week at the moment but do I need to worry about anything else? I googled and shouldn't have really so it's set me off a bit.

Hoping I'm just being dramatic?
