Hi everyone,
Just wondered if anyone had been through the same thing.
My son was born after being in the breach position for a lot of the pregnancy. His toes were pointed most of the time and one of his feet was slightly twisted. I was told this was mild talepies and that it would resolve.
He recently started crawling in the traditional way at 11 months but had been army crawling since 9 months. He is incredibly bendy and has starting pulling himself up. But when he does this he doesn't put his feet flat. They are on the side with both bottoms facing each other or he is standing on the top of his feet with the bottom of his feet facing upward. I'm waiting on a call back from the HV and i imagine they will want to see for themselves but has anyone seen this before? His ankles are so flexible and he can plant his feet if we do it for him but be can't do it himself and it seems to be causing his some pain when he tries to stand up.
Thanks in advance.
