SMA comfort to Kendamil??

Hey guys..
I have a 6 week old baby boy. For 2 week he was presenting with colicky behaviour but not every night , and not for three hours however it was not nice seeing him in pain. Seemed to have a sore tummy, sore when passing stools and a lot of bottom wind! High pitched cry also . Reflux and spitting up a lot . He was on SMA comfort due to constipation in earlier weeks.

I brought him to the doctor for his check up and he suggested changing formula. The nurse suggested cow and gate. I tried this yesterday evening and he will not drink it. Usually drinks 4oz however, will only take 2 oz . Has roared all day in pain . I understand it takes time to adjust to a new formula however, he will not take this . I have purchased Kendamil but it is not anti colic . Any reviews on changing from a comfort milk to regular? I plan on using colief in this milk. I use gripe water also .

Thanks in advance

I gave my wee one two bottles of kendamil today instead of comfort & he seems very agitated & is crying more. Not sure if it is related or not.

We switched to SMA comfort when baby was about 6 weeks and noticed a massive difference in constipation etc. We have kept him on it until he was 9months and now have weaned him over to regular SMA.

I would just keep giving him the comfort milk if he likes it. Health visitor said this was totally fine for us to do! 🥰

If he is happy on comfort milk then keep him on it
