Toddler reflux?

My DD, who is 3, yesterday started complaining of "funny burps" and a "sore neck"... which to me sounds like acid reflux/ heartburn. I can't seem to find much about this online... is it common, can you buy over the counter antacids for kids, or should i be trying to get an appointment with the gp? Any advice very welcome! I've suffered myself in the past so know how uncomfortable it can be. My instinct tells me to wait and see if it persists before doing anything, but i would like to know if they is anything i can do to help with the symptoms. Thanks.

Morning!

I think in your position I'd just pop to a pharmacy and see what the pharmacist could recommend - they'd be able to offer you something age appropriate to try, and if there's no luck then you could call your GP.

Hope your LO feels better soon

Did he eat anything new yesterday? Might be worth keeping a food diary if it continues xx

Thanks. I don't think there were any new foods, but she seemed a bit better yesterday so hopefully it was just a random occurrence. I've never had much luck at the pharmacy, they never seem to be able to give anything for kids, but i will try if it comes back again.

My DD gets this if she has too much dairy or dairy consecutively over 4-5 days.
