My 2 month old is really struggling to finish a bottle. He had his immunisations a little over a week ago and since then he has consistently struggled to complete a feed. Prior to this he would take 5floz each feed whereas now he will get down to 2floz and stop feeding, at this point he will look as though he will go onto the bottle and then push it away with a combination of his tongue and hands before smiling up at us. Alternatively he will start kicking, straining and going quite taught.
We make sure to burp him regularly throughout each feed but don't get much wind out of him (he's never been a gassy baby).
