24 month old not walking

Hi everyone my 24 month old daughter can not stand up at all on her own and has no interest in starting to walk yet is this normal at this age or should they be able to stand up unattended by 24 months any help will be appreciated thanks.

My son didn't walk til he was 2 and a quarter...they had him see a physio but he just did it one day by himself.

Definitely not normal unless you feel she's choosing not to for some reason. I know of one toddler who walked relatively late (20 or so months) because they preferred crawling so just didn't really want to but physically they were capable of it.

Can she speak well enough for you to talk with her about it? My daughter is nearly 2 and has just started being able to communicate why she likes or doesn't like something so maybe if her communication is good you could ask her if it hurts or feels bad etc.

Hello, just curious - how is your daughter doing now? We are at the same stage now, 21 months, cruising but not walking. She doesn't say any words except some noises sometimes.
