Festival with a 3 month old ??

Hi, I booked a family friendly festival (the big feastival) last year and I’m now pregnant so will have a three month old by the time we attend.

Has anybody else been to this festival - is it possible with such a young baby? We will also have an almost 4yr old. Looking at getting a tent that already set up to take away this hassle.

Youngest I took was 8 months but 3 would have been fine. Will you be breastfeeding? I'd imagine bottles would be a bit of a challenge but I've never used one so don't really know what you need.

Sleeping was great. At the time our first night under canvas was DS's longest overnight stretch he'd ever done! We had bedding roll, blanket, sleepyhead, blanket, vest, sleepsuit, fleecy pramsuit, star wrap blanket, and 2 more blankets but it was End of the Road and cold at night.

I haven't been to a festival with a young baby, but I have camped with a 3 month old. Like the above poster, I was breastfeeding and I found it fine, easy really. They are so portable at that age, if you're breastfeeding, and have a sling, you don't need much else. I don't have experience of bottles either; perhaps another poster will be along who has experience there too.

I hope to be breast feeding as great point this will make a huge difference. Great to hear your experience’s - gives me hope it could work!
