6 week old sleep!

My LO is 6 weeks old and sleeping through the night...

is it okay for him to be sleeping for 8 hours at a time? i've always been told never wake a sleeping baby and a baby won't sleep if they're hungry so i'm assuming he's okay?
He's drinking 5/6oz every 3-4 hours too so he's definitely well fed! just concerned he's going too long without a feed Blush

If he’s eating well in the day and gaining weight as he should be, then no need to wake! Maybe just check his weight and look at this centile line to see if he’s progressing as he should, just to give yourself peace of mind that it’s ok to let him sleep for 8 hours.

Yes fine if feeding well and gaining weight. Enjoy the sleep!

Follow your instinct, if you feel you want to wake your baby for a feed then do it. Do whatever feels right for you.

Yes we were in same position here at 6 weeks, as long as gaining weight then crack on!
