DS (2) climbs on me all the time...

...and his little diggy hands and head really hurt me!!
He does it as much as he can even though I tell him "it makes mummy sore", it literally kills when he bashes my boobs. This morning I had an elbow in my boob and it really really hurt. He does say sorry bless him but he can't seem to stop doing it. I'm hoping it's a phase..

Yeah…..I mean mine still do it and they’re 7 and 5, but I’m sure the phase will end eventually…

@GoldenGorilla oh blimey! A long phase for you then.. hoping I'm a bit luckier and my LO listen to me soon 😁

I just put them down if mine do this. If they want to cuddle, fine but if they start climbing on me or messing about with my clothes or tapping/pummelling me then I walk away.

It makes me want to scream as i hate feeling "touched out" so I can't just sit there and take it.

SatinHeart · 14/02/2022 09:23

I've got one of these too (20m). It's the toes digging in that hurts me the most!

lavender2022 · 14/02/2022 10:22

Lol this made me chuckle 🤣🤣 this is my DD down to a tee. Trying to stop with the co-sleeping because she literally throws herself on top of me during the night, hugs me aggressively and digs her toes in to my legs. If I put a pillow between us, she moves it whilst half asleep 😆

ChittyBangs · 14/02/2022 10:28

It's a long phase.
3.5 yo thinks I'm a climbing frame half the time.

Kpo58 · 14/02/2022 11:22

Can you take him to soft play to release his climbing needs?

bloodywhitecat · 14/02/2022 11:24

Mine too, he's 21 months and wants to be attached to me all the time. Thankfully I get a bit of a break when he has his afternoon nap and he sleeps 12 hours overnight.

Russell19 · 14/02/2022 11:26

My 2.5 to does this! Their toes are so stabby and pointy. I just get up and move.
