Hello!

I'm a first time mum, my little girl is turning 2 next month ( can't believe it time has gone so fast )
I'm looking for advice on when to start potty training my little girl?
Thank you xx

Does she go away to a corner or something when she does a poo?

When she's ready.

Signs to look for:

  • she goes away to poo.
  • she can tell you when she has pooed/she shows signs of wanting her nappy changed i.e. she isn't happy pooing her pants anymore.
  • her nappies are dry for periods of time.
  • she understands enough/can focus long enough to be able to sit on a potty/follow instruction.
  • she can pull her own trousers up or at least have a try.
