Bottle situation!

I’ve read a few threads on here about cool boiled water and boiling water to make bottles, I haven’t done that before and my little one is 5 months old and screams the place down still if the bottle is 2 mins late!
Is 5 months too late to start making bottles with cool boiled water and boiling water?
TIA

I was making it with tap water at that age! They all turned out fine 🙂

There are some pretty nasty bacteria that can be present in the dried formula and the hot water is there to kill it off. It's rare but they can potentially be fatal.

So I suppose it's up to you Smile

I make mine (when out and about) the same way the prep machine makes them, start with a 1/4 of the overall bottle amount of boiling water and mix with the formula until fully dissolved, then top up to your required amount with cooled previously boiled water.

Tap water love it! Haha
It’ll still be with boiled water but just 2oz instead of the whole 6oz 🤔 so the bacteria is still being killed off….
Ahh that’s brill too thank you, just wondering if 5 months is too late to start doing it when I’ve made them up with boiling water every time?
