Going Through Miscarriage… advice

pinkpepperclove · 12/02/2022 16:47

This is my second miscarriage, first one was a Missed miscarriage after 7 weeks with no pain or signs of blood etc. After two rounds of medical management and then an operation the pregnancy passed however it was a long drawn out process.

I have started bleeding this time however this has been three days of all I can discribe as a light period, no pain or discomfort, blood when I wipe but not filling a pad. I am reading others accounts and just don’t know whether that will happen to me and what I can do.

Knowing how long the last time took, I feel confident Mother Nature might not do it’s Job and want to just get this over and done with.

Anything I can do or talk to?

Have you been to the EPAU?
Sometimes bleeding in early pregnancy doesn't mean a miscarriage.

My 2nd was a missed miscarriage too, eventually concluded after around 5 weeks with medication, I'm sorry yours sounds like it was so drawn out.

My 1st & 3rd were quite early (around 6 weeks) & quite like a heavier period.

Agree with PP, blessing doesn't mean the worst. I'd call your local EPU and see what they say

((hugs))

Thank you ladies, definitely miscarrying. Hormones blood tests have halved in the week.

I'm sorry to hear that. With my MMC, I found things slowed down when I stopped moving. Much as I didn't feel like it, going for a walk or walking up and down the stairs seemed to keep things moving. I still ended up having medication but only for the last bit, I managed to pass most beforehand. Whenever I sat or lay down it seemed to slow right down for me. That's just my experience so it may not work for you, but it did make me feel like I was doing something to help too.

You’re right, I notice it a lot more walking the dog. I am wondering whether they would give me medications sooner if I asked
