How many sickness bugs is normal for a 2 year old??

My 27 month old had had roughly one vomiting bug a month since September. Maybe more! They never last too long, sometimes just one vomit and then fine, the worst is sometimes he can't keep anything down for 4-6 hours.
He seems to vomit any time he gets any illness, a cold, covid etc. He goes to a childminder with 3 other 1-3 year olds 4 days a week, and playgroups etc fairly often.
I'm just wondering how normal this is? And if anyone has any magic treatments...?!

Could it be Cyclical Vomitting Syndrome?

My DS used to have this (or something like it). Every now and again he would wake up in the night/very early morning and be sick. Usually it would just be the once, and he'd feel unwell for a few hours afterwards. By midday he was usually absolutely fine again. As he's got older it's become even less frequent, he's now 10 and it's very rare, but still gets it occasionally.

Hmm I guess it could be. It does seem to happen frequently enough. But certainly some of the instancing are some kind of norovirus as the other kids are also sick. I guess he's just very prone to them!

On the other side of this,. DD is 2.5, goes to nursery 3 days a week and has a constant cold but has never had a sickness bug.

Well we had about 3 months with no vomming and then he got a nasty cough last week and threw up for 24 hours... I've just accepted that it's the way his body deals with any kind of infection! I guess all kids are different, I've spoken to quite a few parents whose toddlers are the same, but also quite a few whose toddlers have barely thrown up in their lives 🤷 I've just stopped stressing now, he always eats like a horse afterwards so he seems to catch back up ok weight wise. It's horrible though!
