Baby vitamins

Hi everyone,

Looking for recommendations on the vitamin drops for a one year old. I was wondering if anyone knew of a brand that you can give directly to baby (not mix with food or milk) and is perhaps only a small amount. All the types I've tried are like 14 drops or say mix into food or milk?

I'm pretty sure the one I got says to just give plain. And it tastes good

Abidec

I use Abidec and you can give that directly. If you're looking for gummies, I don't think they do those for the under 2s.

Healthy Start - 5 tiny drops and not a crazy price either!

Healthy start. 5 drops and they are the only ones I’ve found that don’t smell horrendous.

Alitlebitsleepy · 10/02/2022 09:04

I use healthy start!

Search for multivitamin syrup, abidec do one.
Our HV gave us 6mth worth of drops for baby, she said it was fine to give those via spoon or in feeds.

We use abidec, had no problems giving it to both kids, and it's just .3 or .6 mil out of a syringe, depending on age.

We use Nature and Nurture after seeing it recommended on another thread on here. It's 0.5ml out of a syringe and my son loves the taste!

I use the one from vitabiotics and both DD and ds loved it. Wellbaby it's called

It says to give it with milk as well I think but the pharmacist said you don't really need to so I just use the syringe and then a 5ml spoon later. I suspect it's quite sweet and that's why they love it but I haven't tried it.

ForksAndSpoons · 11/02/2022 18:28

Wellbaby is 0.5 ml as well.

We use Abidec. For my older child we switched to gummies at 3.

I use ActiKid Multivitamin drops! No nasties like gelatin, preservatives!
I get mine from Amazon that's where I find it cheapest
