Hello, has anyone had a little one go through surgery for cleft lip and palate? My DS has just been given a date for his first op, we are very excited but keen to speak to others with experience!

@Overtherainbow2021 amazing, our boys is in 4 weeks! How are you feeling about it? Ours will be just past his 6 month mark, later than we had expected but it has been good to have time with him with his little cleft smile - i will miss it! Xx

Hi Darl. @Namechangegardens I’m so sorry I didn’t realise you’d replied to me!

He absolutely smashed it and looks terrific. I can’t believe it!! When is your little ones surgery now? I know you’ll be worried, I was too. But these babies are just amazing xxx

@Overtherainbow2021 don't worry im sure you've been busy with it all!

So so glad to hear your boy got on well and that you're happy with results, great news. Has he fully recovered?

Ours is tomorrow, checked into hospital today so just settling into the ward. It will be good to get it over with! Feel like the hours when he's in will be soo nerve wracking.
