what can me dh and dh do tomorrow?

we fancy a day out
we live in milton keynes dh suggestd going to the seaside for the day,dd is 6 months so ive told him its a bit too far to go for a day out in this weather

any ideas ?

I lived in MK once (or near it). You are about as far away from the beach as you can get. Got any other ideas?

A day in Oxford or Cambridge - just about the same distance to either - wander around the dreaming spires and enjoy a Starbucks

go and find the concrete cows aha! (ok, maybe not such a splendid day out)

Get the train to London and walk through Hyde PArk to the museums (don't know if they are open on New Year's Day though)

Don't look for concrete cows they are being refrubished (dad works for art council).

Before anyone asks i didn't how you refurbish a concrete cow .

I would go to Stowe, oxford or cambrige.

i have to cook a xmas type dinner for my parents but hoping to get out for a country walk afterwards if dh has gotten over his man flu sufficiently to carry ds about in backpack thingymabob.

i think the cows are in the new part of the shopping center

yeah you couldnt get much further from the sea than here
maybe they should just make a man made one lol mk is good at that lol
