Which out of the three balance bikes to get for my average size 2 year old?

She is good at her Hape Scoot around but it's getting too small...

All three of mine learnt on striders. But all three were tiny. Went onto a frog, 2 were riding within 10 mins at 3 years old the other was far more cautious and could ride at 3 in the garden but fully competent and safe in public at 4.

We had a Rothan and thought it was great. I sold it for a good price afterwards too.

They are all very similar. I would get whichever one you can get at the best price second hand. We buy all DC bikes used & whilst they are expensive (recent Islabike for DC was £240) they hold their resale value. We usually loose £20ish quid on each bike we buy them.

We had a strider and it was brilliant. Also amazing customer service when we needed some help.

Mine had a Strider at age 2 and it was absolutely fine. Picked it up straight away and was onto a pedal bike within a year.

Every kid around here has the Chicco balance bike and it seems fine, nice and light. Balance bikes work so well that she might only use it for a few months; both mine moved on to pedal bikes without stabilisers before they turned 3.
