im a single mom on benefits and have been seeing someone who wants to live with me, he works how does this affect my benefits?

You will stop getting Income Support but may be able to apply for WTC or CTC if he works - depending on his income, I THINK.

I suggest you also tell the housing benefit people as his income will be taken in to account when deciding how much/if any you get.

The best thing to do would be go to the CAB and see their benefit specialist person, or see if you can get an appointment with your LPA at the job centre

ok thanks he hasnt moved in yet have no decided as i dont really like the thought of hi, having to payfor every thing, im looking to start business i went on income support recently as i was made redundant. so fingers crossed i can get off this income support and earn my own money with my business. then maybe i will consider him moving him.
