Refusing to eat by himself/development

My son will be 3yo in March and seems to have taken a step backwards with regards to eating... he used to eat by himself using cutlery and ate everything what was given to him, but now he only eats if I spoonfeed him and is an extremely fussy eater, even sometimes eating nothing all day! He still drinks from a sippy cup, refusing to drink from a normal cup or bottle, even with a straw! And he does not want try going on the toilet... the times I have tried he goes rigid and cries hysterically! What can I do to help with his development?

Does he go to nursery? Usually DC want to fit in and do what the others do.

My ds used to refuse to feed himself up until he started school, so I wouldn't worry about this as such, but get his teeth checked just in case?
Has he suffered with constipation or anything? My dc had a special toilet seat and step set, which encouraged toilet rather than potty.

He'll be starting nursery in september, so hopefully he will want to copy the other kids 🤞 What could be wrong with his teeth?
He hasn't suffered constipation! Yes my son has one of those toilet seats, but still absolutely refuses point blank!!!!! 😤

Yes I have had another baby... ds2 was born in september... but all this started before he was born!

Why does he have to eat by himself, can he not sit at the table with you while you eat?

😆 Sorry, I meant he doesn't feed himself anymore... of course we all sit together at the dinner table for our meals!
